The Farm Society held its first official community meeting on May 14, 2003 at Cordova Bay United Church. This meeting was a tremendously successful start to an open and positive relationship between community members and the Farm. 
The dialogue with the community continues. Through our voice mail, email address and website we intend to ensure that there will always be a means for community members to express their thoughts and concerns, and be informed of farm activities.
The Society has distributed newsletters in the past and continues to provide regular updates of our activities through e-news to its membership. The Society also provides regular information through the local newspaper, the Cordovan, which allows for broader communication with the citizens of Cordova Bay.
The Farm Concept Plan is available to the public. We continue to host regular events that include the broader community in our planning processes.
