Practicum placements: Please contact the farm e-mail address for arranging practicum placements. The farm welcomes universities, colleges and community groups. A structured workplan following certified organic methods with supervised activities are available. Hali Farm offers practical experience in learning how to grow pure food, which includes growing for the farm’s Food Box program. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in learning how to grow throughout the year, including record keeping, certified organic certification processes, public communication, attendance at markets, planning for a food basket and education. You will be supported by 5 experienced organic farmers and community volunteers. Work plans, attendance records and reports to apprentices are available.
