We continually seek donations of any of the following items or services to help defray some of our ongoing expenses. Donated items should be in good working order.
Household items:
Good shop vac, mop, sharp scissors, brooms, new brushes, dishcloths.
Farm stand items
Tables, tarpaulins, good untreated cedar wood, rubbermaid tubs.
Workshop and other small farm tools:
Knife/tool sharpener, pruning shears, farming and gardening hand tools (especially shovels, rakes, weeding tools), gardening gloves, screwdrivers, hammers, saws, wrenches (or any other small tool for our tool kit), irrigation connectors, wheelbarrows, picnic benches.
Large farm tools and equipment:
Rototiller, a heavy-duty lawnmower, a trimmer, tractor, plow, ladders, fencing materials, irrigation equipment, greenhouse.
Other farm needs:
Bird houses, trellis posts, netting for trellises, picnic table, a produce washing station with two sinks, floating row covers, organic compost and soil amendments (lime, kelp meal, coloidal phosphates, green sand, soybean meal), clean and sterilised potting tables and nursery equipment.
Office needs:
Laptop and VCR in good working order, internet hosting, printing services, graphic design services.
Donated services:
Soil testing services, design and construction of site signage, construction/renovation services for the education centre, fundraising services, event planning services, services to address drainage at house, carpentry skills to construct easy transportable seed display cabinet.
If you are able to contribute any of the items above, or would like to donate cash or your time as a volunteer, please contact us. Tax receipts are provided for cash donations or donations of new items with receipts.
