Regular work parties take place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm and on designated Saturdays from 10am – 2pm until Oct. 13. (Please note that when the Growing Food in the City course is running at the farm on a Saturday, weekend work parties may end at 1pm).
During the Saturday work parties we usually bring a lunch to share. Hardy farmers work in all kinds of weather. Gloves, waterproof shoes or boots, own drinking water, sunscreen, raingear and a hat are recommended.
On the Society section the work parties follow a workplan and are led by at least one farmer. There is the opportunity to rotate with five farmers, thus providing you with a diverse learning experience. Please see Directions for a map to the farm. We look forward to meeting you.
