Our own Kristen Miskelly is leading an afternoon workshop called The Nature of the Native Plant Garden on February 28, 2016 at the Gardens at HCP. Kristen is a biologist with long experience in planning, propagating and tending native plant gardens in Southern Vancouver Island. Farm visitors will know her as one of the driving forces behind our Haliburton Urban Biodiversity Project, a familiar face at the Wetlands Restoration Project work parties, and of course co-owner of the certified organic native plant nursery business, Saanich Native Plants.
