Interested in ecosystem restoration? We have it at Hali, and you can learn about it tomorrow. On November 20, the Haliburton Biodiversity Project will be presenting on the meadow restoration that’s being done at Haliburton Community Organic Farm. Check it out at the upcoming Garry Oak Ecosytems Recovery Team research colloquium, November 20, 2015, from 8:30 till 4:00 p.m. (followed by an AGM from 5:00-6:00 p.m.) at the Cadboro Commons, University of Victoria.

Presentations will include the latest research and projects on establishing Garry Oak meadow species on sites with lawns or bare ground and re-establishing extirpated Garry Oak ecosystem populations. Registration includes lunch and refreshments, and there is a discounted rate for students. Interested? Hope to see you there!
