Our April work party divided its time between the Society land – weeding, pruning, moving some plants around – and the driveway where ivy had been getting the upper hand. As it was about to seed, the time seemed right to attack, and we gathered a sizeable pile. Haliburton’s commitment to managing invasive species around the property can be challenged by what grows on, under and through our fences.
