It’s a mouthful, our name, Haliburton Community Organic Farm Society, so we like to abbreviate it as HCOFS. Each year HCOFS holds an annual general meeting to confirm our board of directors, discuss governance issues, and invite you to join or renew your membership ($30) – helping to support the farm’s work and be part of its community.
This year’s AGM will be held on Monday April 24th, at 6pm at the farm, 741 Haliburton Road. To conform to the new BC Societies Act, the meeting will include discussion of the amended Constitution & Bylaws of HCOFS before submitting these to the Registry. We will circulate the proposed (few) amendments to the Constitution & Bylaws before the meeting.
